Handbag is worked in the round with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout, starting with the slipped stitch pattern and worked down to the bottom gusset. The crochet cast-on is then removed, and the live stitches are placed back onto a needle. The top of the handbag is then worked in the round before it is divided and worked flat for the striped top.
You will need 2 skeins of Louet Euroflax Sport Weight Linen for Color A and 1 skein of Louet Euroflax Sport Weight Linen for Color B.
With over 30 colors in Euroflax to choose from, the hardest part of this pattern will be choosing two. You may want to knit one for each season. The slipped stitch pattern produces a firm and durable fabric which will last for years.
