Sazanka
“Sazanka” is Japanese and means Camelia sasanqua.
This pattern is knitted top-down in the round, constructed by colorwork, eyelet rib, a little bit cable, and rib stitch.
Standard version
Yarn: Worsted weight,
MC: 28 g / 72 m (79 yds), CC: 8 g / 18 m (20 yds)
Sample: Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, 100% Wool – Targhee-Columbia, 128 m (140 yd) / 50 g
MC: Meteorite, CC: Camper
Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm) & US 8 (4.5 mm) or JPN11 (5.4 mm) & JPN7 (4.5 mm),
Set of 4 DPNS or 80 cm (32”) Circular needles (for magic loop method)
Gauge: 16 sts×23 rows in 10 cm (4”) in stockinette stitch
Finished measurements:
Ankle circumference; 21 cm (8.25”),
Top of ankle-warmers; 26 cm (10.25”),
Length; 16 cm (6.25”)
Tools: 1 stitch marker, Cable needle, Tapestry needle
