Scandi Sukkalegs
Called sukkalegs in Shetland dialect, leggings make great take-along projects because they are both small and simple. Kate Gagnon Osborn added some Norwegian influence to her two-color leg warmers that feature stacks of partial stars and elegant shaping in vertical stripes. There are a few places where the nonworking yarn is carried for more than an inch (2.5 cm) across the back of the work - you may want to “tack” these floats to the wrong side of the work so they won’t catch on your toes as you slip them on.
