I used Paintbox Cotton Aran
50 yards each Red and White
Scrap of skin color yarn
E/4 3.5 mm hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitch Marker

sl st - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
edc - extended double crochet
sc2tog - sc dec
