Pattern Description from Victorian Lace Today: “Mrs. Gaugain give several extremely simple patterns for shawls. This one is in faggoting - the basis of all lace knitting. The rectangle could be as big as you like - just cast on more stitches.”

Measurements: 20” x 58”
Yarn Weight/Yardage: #2 Fine Weight / 500 yds
Yarn & Colorway: ROWAN Kidsilk Haze 3 balls in 605 Smoke
Needles:
- 4.5mm/US 7 circular needles, or size to obtain gauge, 60cm (24”) or longer
- Two 4mm/US 6 double-pointed needles
Notions:
- Stitch markers
- Blunt needle
- Small amount smooth yarn for cast on
Note: To lengthen (shorten), add (subtract) 6 repeats of Chart A for each Border repeat on long sides. To widen (or narrow), add (or subtract) two repeats of Chart A for each Border repeat on short sides.
