Scarlet Pimpernel Shawl
This long shawl from Anniken Allis starts with a central triangular section, then each wing is worked separately as a rectangle; this shape helps it to sit nicely around the neck.
The lace pattern is mirrored on the right and left wings, and a different lace stitch is used for the lower borders, which forms a scalloped edging.
Anniken’s shawl is knitted in Exquisite 4ply, a wool-silk blend which has a fabulous drape, softness and sheen.
