I designed Scarlet to be the perfect pairing with sundresses. It is a cropped sweater knit from the bottom up in one piece, with elbow-length sleeves and raglan sleeves. The neck incorporates a section of short rows for added depth in the back and a nice frame for the neckline.

For Body:
Repeat the Pattern Row, working rows 2-33 of Right and Left Front Charts (2-17 of Back Chart) until body measures 9 9, 9, 9, 9, 11, 11, 11, 11 inches from cast on edge (measure along cabled edge – not the garter stitch sections), ending with a Wrong Side row facing, you can continue longer if a longer sweater is desired.

Next Row: (WS) Work in pattern to ribbing side section, work 6 (for all sizes) sts in ribbing pattern as established, work 10 10, 10, 10, 10, 18, 18, 18, 18 sts in pattern and place on a holder, work 6 sts in ribbing, continue in pattern to opposite ribbing side section, repeat the bold type once, continue in pattern to the end.
