Scattering Cowl and Mitts

The Mitts are simple to make and the first can double as your gauge swatch! The cowl is a diminishing spiral that gives you a double width of fabric to tuck into the front of your coat to protect you from drafts.
Finished size:
Mitts: 8” around x 7.5” long, one size fits most
Cowl: 28” around x 8.5 – 17” deep, one size fits most
Yarn:
Sample made with 3 skeins - Katia Azteca color #7840, 50% Superwash Wool/50% Acrylic, 100g/197yds
Hook: US J/6mm tunisian hook or size needed for gauge
Gauge:
16 sts and 13 rows over 4 inches in TSS
