Welcome to Scarfmas 2018!!!
This is a yearly Geoknittrix Designs holiday tradition and welcome to Year 5: SCHIST!!!
Scarfmas patterns are fun, quick to knit patterns that are perfect for that last minute gift, for a fun charity knit, for that one person who is so hard to gift knit for (because who doesn’t need a scarf?), or for YOU as a knitter! (My personal favorite!)
Psst… The shape is also SUPER wearable and easy to style - making it perfect for any one who doesn’t want to fuss with a shawl/scarf!
I love to knit and I’m lucky to be on some other amazing gift knitters’ lists, but it’s not often that I find a hand knit gift under the tree for me! So this is the PERFECT opportunity to knit for YOU!
Scarfmas is all about the spirit of the holidays and gifting and sharing our love of yarn, needles, and color with the world! This shawliday transcends any religion, politics, or anything else that can tend to drive us apart. Scarfmas is all about the love and warmth of sharing our passions with others and encapsulates the spirit of the knitting community around us!
Schist is a fun, quirky little MKAL that updates every other day for 11 days with the next section of the pattern (a total of 6 sections). There are some larger sections, but generally speaking, the sections are fun and fast to make sure you don’t have to sacrifice too much of that precious crafting time!
The pattern release will start on December 9th, 2018 and finishes 11 days later on the the 19th. This gives you time to do any sort of catching up and plenty of time to block and wrap your amazing scarf!
