Vests are in style- (Especially vests that that are scholarly!)
Not only does this cabled vest look preppy and smart with just about anything underneath – it will keep you warm when the fall crispness starts to chill the air.

The scholar’s vest is a slightly oversized unisex vest - choose a size that is approximately 4-8” larger than your actual bust size depending on your preference.
This vest is worked from the bottom up beginning with a split hem which is a bit longer in the back. Once the split hem is worked, the body is joined and worked in the round to the underarms. Then the back and front are worked separately. The only seaming will be at the shoulders. The V-neck and sleeve edgings are picked up and knit in the finishing.
