Scorpion Flower
A shawl inspired by Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, her wedding dress. Originally I wanted to knit this for my sisters wedding, in white. But since the date were never set I just made this in darker colors instead.
This design is named after a song of the same name by the Portuguese progressive metal band Moonspell.
Update April 2018: My sister has set the date and apparently I now need to knit another one :)
Measurement of finished shawl: ~150 cm in diameter when the gauge is 15 st and 24 rows = 10 cm/4”
Yarn: 450 g (3 skeins) of Opal Uni Solid 6 ply OR any Sport weight yarn 420 m/150 g
Needles 6 mm long circular needle.
16 Stitch Markers
SM’s separates the sections from each other when you work the bottom edge or the shawl.
