Designed to be worn with approx 7.5-10cm 3-4in positive ease, to allow for a shirt or tee underneath.

Originally ganseys were worn tight. If preferred, choose a size with approx 5cm 2in positive ease. You may need to lengthen the sleeves a little to compensate, but as they are worked top down this is very easy to adjust.

Errata:
The downloadable pattern does not have this error, but the original pattern printed in The Knitter lists the left and right leaning patterns as being worked over 8cm.
This is incorrect. Each section should be worked over 13 rows/rounds.
