This Scottish Thistle Tam features the lovely richly coloured thistles found just about everywhere in Scotland.

The tam is knitted in the round and uses 6 balls of wool - 2 for the main colour and one each of four contrasts. I’ve used the following:

286 Moorgrass
633 Jupiter
812 Prairie
1290 Loganberry

Needle sizes 2.75 and 3.00 mm
