Scrappy Sachets
The Scrappy Sachets pattern is pretty self-explanatory: put your stash to good use as you play with different types of stitches! Whether you’re making gifts or keeping them around to brighten up your home, these sachets are a joy to work up.
Feel free to get creative with your fillings! I used dried lavender flowers from my garden, but you could use other dried flowers, potpourri, or even pine needles. If your materials are all microwave-safe, you could add some rice to make a heat pack! You can even use this pattern as a cover for a pre-made sachet.
Level: This four-in-one pattern includes designs ranging from beginner level (simple knit/purl) to intermediate (basic cables).
Yarn: The samples were made using worsted/aran (4) and DK (3) weight yarn, but you can use any yarn you have lying around! If you use worsted or DK, you can expect to need about 25-60 yards. Simply pick a pair of needles that are a few sizes smaller than those called for on the ball band to keep a tight fabric that will securely enclose the filling.
Each option includes both written and charted instructions.
