This shawl is just lovely and evokes dreams of islands, sands, oceans, seafoam, and beaches! The yarn is Expression Fiber Works “Sincere Sock”. It’s beautiful and the colors are perfect! You will use one skein of blue and one skein of sand as detailed in the pattern. I used 6/0 glass beads for the seafoam where the water laps onto the shore.

This is a big and easy to wear crescent shaped shawl. It’s perfect for summer or anytime you feel the call of the ocean! This would make a lovely gift for yourself or anyone you want to impress!

Included is a large chart, but the instructions for the charted rows are also written out for those who don’t like working from charts. The blue lace is a modified feather and fan pattern. The sand portion is seed stitch. You will work wraps and turns in the sane portion to achieve the crescent shaping. Full instructions are included. (It’s not too hard!) You will need to know how or learn to co, bo, k, p, ssk, k2tog, yo, w&t. It was so much fun to knit!

Please note that this shawl matches another pattern I currently have on ravelry. It’s called Sea and Sand Mitts. It uses the same yarn as this shawl and if you have yarn for the shawl, you can make the mitts without purchasing more yarn!
