Crescent shaped shawls are so easy to wear, as they stay on without a shawl pin. They can be worn as a scarf and draped in many different ways.

Beginning with a center neck cast on, the shawl features 2 columns of yarn-over increases, plus increases at the edges. The first section is all in garter st, so the knitter will see fast progress. The rest of the shawl uses stockinette stitch with garter stitch ridges, and an easy textured stitch to show off the gently variegated yarn.

At the lower border, there is a lace design which forms a scalloped edge.

An easy, relaxing knit, with just a little concentration needed for the lace edge.
