Sea Mist is an asymmetrical triangle shawl that alternates between ribbed lace and brioche. This design is all about fibre combinations – textural, earthy yarns sit against light and floaty ones.

Yarn: Yarn A: 6 balls of 2ply Jumper Weight by Jamieson & Smith (100% Shetland wool, 125 yds / 115 m – 25 g), colourway FC12. Or approx. 744 yds / 680 m of fingering weight yarn.
Yarn B: 1 ball of Silk + Kid Mohair by Onion (40% mulberry silk, 60% kid mohair, 262 yds / 240 m – 25 g), colourway 3001. Or approx. 253 yds / 230 m of lace weight yarn.
Needles: US 6 / 4 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needle.
GAUGE
16 sts x 23 rows to 4” / 10 cm with yarn A in single colour brioche, after blocking.
16 sts x 26 rows to 4” / 10 cm with yarn A in ribbed lace, after blocking.
