Sea Sprite is a light and airy, loose-fitting vest with a lace pattern that looks like kelp drifting in the sea current.

Sea Sprite is knit in one piece from the lower edge up. Once the main body of the vest has been knit, back and front are separated and worked individually, shoulder seams are joined using the 3-Needle Bind Off, and the garter edging is worked around the back of the neck. On completion, the vest needs to be well blocked to open out the lace pattern.

Lace patterns are written and charted.

Sample is to fit 32–38”; model is 34”
