Sea Thrift Shawl
This is a crochet pattern in both UK and US terminology to crochet a triangular ‘Sea Thrift Shawl’,
It is a small shawl measuring 120cm across with a depth of 43cm, but directions are given to make it larger if desired.
Only 1 skein of 100g yarn is needed,
It is crocheted using simple Filet crochet technique,
I designed this shawl as I had purchased one 100g skein of indie hand dyed yarn in a colourway that had been inspired by one of my photographs on Instagram of the ‘Sea Thrift’ flowers along our local coastline. I wanted to make something using just 1 skein and this was the result- a light and airy shawl, perfect to wrap around your neck on a summers evening coastal walk past the Sea Thrift flowers…
