This pattern creates a supremely warm and chunky cowl. It is knitted in the round in an all-over, chain-bobble stitch pattern.

Suggested Yarn
Plymouth Yarn, Baby Alpaca Grande (3.5 oz/100 g, 110 yd/101 m, 100% fiber baby alpaca), 3 hanks super bulky weight yarn CYCA 6, #202, Fawn.

Gauge
11 sts and 18 rnds = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch, to obtain gauge

Several years ago I wrote a more simplified version of this pattern (also called Sea Urchin Cowl), which is no longer available. I reworked this design and had it professionally edited and test knitted to provide a new and improved version of the Sea Urchin Cowl.
