Seahorse Serenade
SEAHORSE SERENADE is a fun pattern made using basic overlay mosaic crochet techniques. Use the pattern to make a blanket for a baby, toddler or just for someone who loves seahorses! And you don’t have to use pink - take a look at some of the projects for more ideas!
SEAHORSE SERENADE consists of the “Seahorse” Panel and “Seaweed” Border. It can therefore be used in any combination and also stacked with other mosaic crochet pattern strips from Craft Pixie. Have a look at Fish Tails, Frog Chorus and Perching Owls and Duck Gallery.
The pattern includes written instructions, charts and some helpful hints and tips to make your project easier. You will also get instructions on stitch placement, reading the charts and descriptions and some other, more general, hints and tips.
The pattern uses basic Overlay Mosaic Crochet techniques, but is considered to be an “intermediate” project, as it does involve some colour changing for the nose and spines and a special stitch to create the body texture. However, this is all described and annotated with step-by-step photos, so should be relatively straight forward. If you prefer, you can choose the simplified version, made using one colour for the body, spines and nose.
