I used Elsebeth Lavold’s Angora yarn for this project - I love this yarn and also it was in my “stash”. It is discontinued but any soft heavy worsted weight yarn would be perfect for this pattern.

It takes 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) skeins for the vest. If there are leftovers I suggest making a head band out of the braided cable design.

This is almost seamless - just a few inches to sew along the back neckline.
