Summary
This pattern is designed as an easy-to-follow first pattern for an early stage beginner and uses chains, UK doubles and UK trebles, as well as crochet increases. (US chain, single and double crochets, single crochet increases).
The sheep is made in 2 pieces. There are both written instructions and a chart for the head, so you can practice reading charts if you choose. There are written instructions for the simple body.
You will create a sheep ~10cm tall and 10cm long.
The pattern is available in both US and UK terms, with photographs of each step for both right and left handed crocheters. Both a right and left handed chart is provided for the head. Full construction (sewing) instructions are provided, with a photo tutorial.
Suitable for Aran (UK) and Worsted (US) weight yarn.
