All pieces knitted flat on normal needles & sewn together.
Skills level: fairly easy.
2 x 50g balls Rowan alpaca for elephant, but can be substituted for Sirdar DK as it’s nice & thick.
1 x 100g balls of white & blue Sirdar Bonus DK was used for the clothes.
Cheaper brands & baby DK are NOT suitable as they are too thin.
Needles 3.25mm (UK 10) (usa 3)
plus you will need a spare needle the same size for the collar & bodice.
Plus you will need a bag of toy stuffing
3 buttons for dress, I for collar, 2 for shoes. (shoes are not removeable)
Finished toy with recommended yarns is 16 ins or 41 cms tall.
