I live just a short walk away from a park that’s right on the water. There’s a sweet beach, forested paths, and a striking rocky shoreline that gets strong, crashing waves coming in. I’m always mesmerized by the colour and drama of the sea, and amazed that I get to live so close to such an impressive place. I named this shawl Seaspray thinking of my walks along the boulders.

Worked in a draping lace weight yarn, Seaspray combines several intuitive lace patterns using the simple shape of a half pi shawl for elegant and impressive results. It’s finished off with a wavy lace pattern reminiscent of the sea.

Knit it in a watery blue-green like this one in Sincere Sheep Diaphanous - the color is fittingly called Agean - or choose soft white for a perfect bridal accessory.

Lace patterns are charted and written.
