Here’s a simple textured pattern for quick knitting or even a first sock! Veriegated yarns will be easy to manage with this pattern.

Sized for a woman’s average foot, they feature a textured cuff and instep with a plain foot and wedge toe.

This pattern motif is fully charted with written instructions for shaping, but no line-by-line motif instructions (but the chart is easy to work.)

Skill level: Beginner - you should be able to knit and purl.

Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts sport weight 100% superwash wool in shades of blue. The yarn came in one large skein measuring 576 yards, and there was plenty left over.

Gauge: 7 stitches per inch
