To celebrate my birthday everything in my Ravelry store is 40% off until midnight of February 17, 2025 (EST). The 40% discount will be applied automatically at checkout without any code.

The offer includes e-books as well, e.g. Photography Shawl together with Secession belong to the Top 5 e-book. The Photography Shawl pattern is also 40% off!

Also, for a few hours only (till midnight in EST time zone on February 17) this pattern is a present to you: I’m Not Who You Think I Am. The code is one word and the second part of the word is ptance. The first part of the word you can find on the Photography Shawl pattern page. With the code I’m Not Who You Think I Am will be free at checkout (if you would like to purchase some other patterns or e-books, add the other items to your cart separately, without using the code, so the 40% discount works).

I have a humble request: If reposting, please do not post the promo code directly, only the link to the Secession pattern page.

An unexpected glimpse of gold on a garland of leaves, unification of simplicity and decorativeness. Klimt from Viennese Secession movement (which was the Austrian Art Nouveau) would approve of it.

Secession is one of six patterns from the Knit Light e-book.
Secession Mitts match the shawl.
If you prefer a cowl, check Secession Cowl.

The shawl is an asymmetric curved triangle worked sideways in one piece. Instructions are provided for two sizes. With either set of instructions you can use fingering or DK weight yarn to create a petite, regular, or large shawl. Instructions for custom size shawl are included. Beads are optional, but highly recommended.

For information about sizes, measurements and yarn requirements please check the second page of the pattern located among the photos on the left.

Please note that In the written instructions, chart E, row 5, a “k” is missing in the k2tog: (p7, ssk, k3, 2tog).
