Seeing is Believing
The Seeing is Believing Scarf / Shawl was designed to be used with a mini skein Advent Calendar. This pattern makes the most of the different color daily mini skein gifts.
There are so many possibilities—add colors in randomly, a set color sequence, or use a full skein as a main color and alternate with mini skeins. The slip stitches and regular color changes will keep you wanting to keep on knitting!
This is also a perfect way to get scrappy and use up all those leftover fingering weight yarns in your stash! Sort your yarn into Dark and Light groups and you will better see how all the colors can work together.
Note on construction
The scarf (shawl) begins with a triangle shape. Half of the stitches are put on hold and the first bias side is knit. Complete the first side and join your yarn to finish knitting the second bias side. The design is easily adaptable, knit triangle to desired depth and bias sides to any length!
