Seersucker Beanie
Who doesn’t love a good beanie? And who wouldn’t want a family of beanies to match with their loved ones? This double-brimmed beanie keeps your ears extra toasty and features a fun, simple design made with purls and knits.
PATTERN INFORMATION: 
This beanie is made from the bottom-up in one piece. 
It includes two different methods of constructing the brim. 
The simple design on the body of the beanie is provided as written instructions as well as a chart. 
Shown in size Child, Adult S and Adult L
Materials: (NEEDLES) 
For Child, Adult S, and Adult L: US 10.5 (6.5 mm) in 16”/ 40 cm or length preferred. 
For All Sizes: US 10.5 (6.5 mm) double-pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting.
Notions: 
Optional for provisional cast-on: Scrap yarn or stitch holder 
1 - Stitch marker 
Darning needle 
Optional: fur pom pom
Finished size: 
Baby: 15” x 8.5”/ 38cm x 21cm 
Child: 17” x 9.5”/ 43cm x 23.5cm 
Adult S: 19.5” x 10”/ 49.5cm x 25.5cm 
Adult L: 22” x 10.5”/ 56cm x 26cm 
To be worn with 1”- 2” (2.5 cm-5 cm) negative ease.
Gauge: 13 sts x 22 rounds = 4” (10 cm) with US 10.5 (6.5 mm) in stockinette.

80 (95, 115, 128)yards 
75 (87, 105, 117)m
Yarn used: 
Cascade 128. (Bulky Weight; 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g; 128 yards/ 117 meters). 1 skein. Color used: Silver (1946).
Skills to explore: provisional cast-on (optional), knitting in the round, picking up stitches, bottom-up construction, following a chart or written instructions for simple seersucker design.
