Seeworthy Wrap
Simple but eye-catching lace in a drapey, fun-to-knit shape? Check.
Lots of room for color play and interesting yarns? Definitely.
Great for stashbusting? There’s a free worksheet to help you with that.
And because of its construction, Seeworthy is easy to shorten (or lengthen) as you desire. Whether you’re just starting out on your knitting journey or well down the road, the Seeworthy Wrap will keep you engaged and give you a finished piece to be proud of.
I know, I know. It should be “seaworthy,” right? Well, as I was knitting, something about the pattern—the arrows reaching out, maybe, or the way each section stands distinct but also in relation to its neighbors?—brought to mind the idea of standing up and allowing yourself to be seen. Then, when I saw Seeworthy spread out on the blocking mats for the first time, all I could think of was arms outstretched, taking up space in the world. And since that seemed too important to keep to myself, I knew I had to tie it into Seeworthy’s name and story.
We must remember—must believe—that all of us, no matter who we are, are worthy as we are. With its strong lines, flowing arrows, and many opportunities for personalization, it seems to me that Seeworthy can be a visual reminder of that. Let’s see and be seen. The world will be better for it <3
Pattern is both written and charted, and Seeworthy has been tech edited and test knit, so you can cast on with confidence.
