When I couldn’t find a hat pattern that I liked for my new granddaughter, I made my own.  This project is quick and versatile and can be made with pastels, primary colors or a single color for a different look each time.  The hat is snug and covers the ears; the matching stroller blanket is just the right size so it doesn’t touch the wheels or drag along the street.  It was my daughter’s idea to put the hole in the blanket for the seat belt, to keep both baby and blanket safe inside the stroller.





Gauge for hat:  First 2 rounds = 2.5 inches in diameter.
