This is a basic norwegian mittens pattern, calculated for all hand sizes from toddler to adults, that may be used as a starting point for colorwork or any other stitch variation. The zebra motif is embroidered on the back-of-hand side, after finishing the mittens, to avoid knitting on the palm side, as I found DK yarn too thick. However, if you prefer knitting in fair isle technique, you can do that - remember that in this case you have to have a motif on the palm side as well (1x1 colorwork, or any other).

Please, note that this is the same basic pattern as for the Leo Mittens, just a different chart. If you’d bought the other pattern, contact me.

The pattern is calculated for all sizes, it does not include sizing with needles! This means, if you know how to work around your gauge, you can adjust the pattern for any gauge. It just involves a bit of math :-)

I am doing my best to write my patterns as simple, clear and precise as possible and to avoid mistakes. However, feel free to contact me at boredomkills.design@gmail.com or here, for any suggestion of improvement.
