Self-Fringing Bias Shawl / Scarf
by Greta Dise
Notes from the designer, Greta Dise:
You can make this a long/wide shawl or use smaller needles and/or less stitches and make a scarf. What you end up with will depend on the needle size and number of stitches. Make a swatch first to see what you personally like!
Shawl-Scarf is knit on the bias (increase on one row, decrease on the next) in garter stitch (knit every row). Produces a ‘parallelogram’ shaped wrap.

See Self Fringing Shawl (triangle) for the triangular version.
