Self Portrait Skeleton Scarf
Self Portrait Skeleton is a large scarf for the patient crocheter, it is worked entirely in filet crochet and ends up as a picture of a life size skeleton.
The sample is crocheted with a fairly tight tension and was washed at 60 degrees Celsius/140 Fahrenheit before blocking. Gauge was measured after washing, blocking, drying. Seeing now that it seems to come out a lot larger for most crocheters I think the wash might have shrunk it a bit.
Errata:
Cast on chain: It should be 252+1 sts, not 253. Then it is 6 trebles for the solid border each side and 120 ‘empty’ filet squares.
