Selin Courtyard Hat
by Linda Hurley
Selin Courtyard is part of the Sterling Memorial Library on the Yale University Campus in Connecticut. I was sitting in the courtyard one beautifully day admiring the gothic style windows of the buildings around me. I was inspired to create wearable garments that represent views from this courtyard. Here I present Selin Courtyard Hat. This hat has six “window” patterns worked in the round. The crown shaping resembles the gothic arch of each window. I hope you enjoy making and wearing Selin Courtyard Hat.
