This design is the eleventh in a series—twelve washcloths in sequence knitting for 2023. This month, we’re working the {k3, p1, k1 3 times, p3} sequence in a serpentine method over a multiple of 12 stitches plus 3. We will cast on the same number of stitches as last month, but the texture created will be different. Next month, we’ll work a shaped sequence, and knit the washcloth from corner to corner, which will change the stitch pattern once again. Each pattern will come with general instructions for sequence knitting, as well as specific instructions for the featured dishcloth.

Special thanks to Knit Picks ( https://www.knitpicks.com/ ) for providing their Dishie yarn for the samples.

This washcloth is a simple project. The skills you will need to know--or learn--to complete it are:

  • cast on and bind off;
  • knit and purl.
