PLEASE NOTE: I could only include one yarn weight & gauge in the listing, but this pattern has 4 yarn weight options with full instructions for each option as follows:

Version A - 4ply / finger in/ #1 weight yarn
Version B - dk / light worsted / #3 weight yarn
Version C - Aran / worsted / #4 weight yarn
Version D - chunky / bulky / #5 weight yarn

Since coming up with this stitch pattern for the Seren Summer Top, I thought it would be great for a beanie. I love a slouch beanie, but I also love to have options! The extra deep brim & tapered crown means you can fold up the brim & switch it to an even cosier fitted beanie! You could even wear it on the “wrong” side for horizontal stripes & a completely different look.

Construction: This beanie is constructed from the bottom up. The ribbed band is made & then the main body of the beanie is worked directly onto the ribbed band in joined rounds. The crown is decreased & then gathered a little to close.

Sizes: The pattern includes 4 sizes from head circumference 18” to 24” (approx 12 months to large adult)

Skill level: Adventurous beginner/intermediate

This is a written pattern with photos & videos to guide you through any potentially tricky parts.

The pattern has been tech edited & thoroughly tested by a large group of fabulous testers who have tested every size & yarn weight to ensure accuracy & clarity. It’s really important to me that you have a pattern you love. Please reach out to me if you have any issues.
