The pattern is written so that you can knit this using DPNs, magic loop, or shorties. However, these will be easier with magic loop compared to DPNs.
The thumb finishing will need to be done with DPNs or magic loop. Cabling section is charted as well as written line by line for easy to follow instructions. Sizing adjustments are suggested in the pattern as well.
