Seven Sisters
The seven brightly coloured stars in this design glow against the darker background. My finished hexagon is about 96 cm across at its widest point just the right size to use it on a table. You could use thicker yarn or knit more stars to make a blanket. For my project, I used 250g of the star colour and 200g of the background one.
The whole design is made up of 150 triangles, worked in the round and then sewn together. This would make a lovely group project with everyone contributing one star’s worth of triangles.
The knitting is easy and I’ve included step by step instructions for assembling your piece of geometric art and blocking it. This is a pattern to play with to create your own, individual masterpiece.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease.
