Socks inspired by the Series Shadow and Bone, they present a colourwork pattern that reminds of forests with a detail of a Male Deer head on the outsides of the socks.
There is a left and a right sock, the size differ in the amount of stitches, rows knit and size of needles chosen. The Socks are knit toe-up and in Magic loop, but can be knit with DPNs as well. The heel is a special charted short-row version that results in a well fitting anatomical heel.

Errata:
There is a small error in the 1st edition in the chart of the leg: one “twig” is misplaced one row up (stitches 41-43, rows 25-28)
