Needles:
3.75 mm / US 5 circular needle, minimum 80cm / 32” length 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle, minimum 80cm / 32” length AND needle suitable forworking small circumferences in the round. Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: Smooth scrap yarn in a similar weight and crochet hook for provisional cast on, 4 stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle, t-pins and blocking wires.

Notes: Sharman is knit from the centre back neck out to the hem. Once the back width is reached, stitches are put on hold for the sleeves and the hem worked across the front band and back stitches. A cuff is then worked onto the sleeves. Within the stitch pattern the stitch count
will fluctuate independent of the regular increases worked to shape the cocoon. Please keep these changes in mind when counting stitches outside of rows where the precise stitch count is given. It is easiest
to check stitch counts at the end of each 8-row pattern repeat where there is a regular increase of 4 sts
