There is so much potential in the construction of a top-down triangular shawl – it doesn’t always have to end up being a shawl! In this pattern what starts just like a shawl ends up being a biased raglan t-shirt.

The shawl section is knit in garter stitch (either in stripes or solid). The body is worked on the bias to reflect the shawl shaping and add a little interest to the otherwise plain stockinette stitch. The hem is knit in reverse stockinette for some extra texture. The sleeves are worked in stockinette in contrasting color.

All edges are finished with an i-cord for a smooth and finished look. Choose between a funky striped version or an equally awesome colorblocked version.

Beware! This pattern is so much fun to knit & to wear, it’s addictive!

In der Konstruktion eines Dreieckstuchs stecken so viele Möglichkeiten – da muss es nicht immer als Dreieckstuch enden! In diesem Strickmuster wird daraus eine Raglan-T-Shirt.

Der dreieckige Abschnitt wird in kraus rechts gearbeitet (entweder uni oder in Streifen), der Hauptteil wird in glatt rechts gearbeitet. Abgeschlossen wird alles mit einem Streifen in glatt links. Alle Kanten werden mit einem i-Cord abgeschlossen für einen sauberen, glatten Rand. Du kannst das Shirt gestreift oder also Colorblocking-Version stricken.

Achtung, Suchtgefahr! Das Shirt macht so viel Spaß beim Stricken & Tragen, dass man gleich mehrer machen will!
