I live in the Pacific Northwest where a good wool sweater can be worn in place of a jacket most of the year, and I can’t help but reach for this one when the temperature drops. There’s something special about a sweater on a blustery day! Shelter Cove is easy to slip on and go and seems to work with just about everything in my closet. With a flattering v-neck (not too deep) and strategic shaping around the arms to enhance fit, it’s a quick-knit sweater that I think you’ll love.

Shelter Cove is worked back and forth from the beginning until the neck shaping is established. The two sides of the front are worked separately until joined at the center of the v-neck. The sweater is joined in the round at the completion of the neck shaping. The working yarn is rejoined at the side to establish the new starting point, and it’s worked in the round from there.
