Needles: US 6 / 4 mm and US 7 / 4.5 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles, US 7 / 4.5 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles OR DPNs for crown decreases.
Notions: Stitch marker, snips, darning needle, waste yarn and 4.0 mm crochet hook for tubular cast on, blocking materials.
GAUGE
22 sts x 30 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in rise ribbing St (see pattern), after blocking.

CONSTRUCTION
Shelterwood is a bottom-up cap with thick folded brim with a built in defined fold line. Pattern includes dimensional 3 x 2 rib with rounded crown decreases.
