Shepherdess Socks are delicate socks full of cables and lace. The socks are worked from cuff to toe and feature a strong heel. The back of the leg is worked in twisted ribbing and the sole is stockinette stitch while the instep is covered with cables and lace. The pattern is written for magic loop technique, but you can work the socks with dpns if you wish. If you like, you can work two socks at a time as there is no need to move the stitches around.
