The pattern is written according to the number of stitches that you cast on. The cast on stitches are based on the circumference of the largest part of the ball of your foot.

Finished Measurements
See the charts above for the approximate length of the finished foot of the sock. The finished leg of the sock measures approximately 7” from the cuff to the start of the heel flap. If you prefer a longer or shorter sock you can adjust the length easily but this will affect the yardage you use so adjust accordingly.

Needles
This pattern is written specifically for double pointed needles.
● Four US 0 (2.0 mm) double pointed needles (DPNs).
● Four US 1 (2.25 mm) double pointed needles (DPNs).
● One US 3 (2.75 mm) double pointed needle for cast on.

Gauge
38 sts x 48 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in stockinette pattern after blocking.
