Shetland coffee cozy
In all simplicity – a cover for my cafetière – a Shetland coffee cozy. There is caring in a tea cozy or, as here, a coffee cozy: I want us to sit here for a while, I want the coffee to be hot. I associate
this simple, heartfelt care with Shetland and here it is expressed in a geometric pattern that flirts with tradition and invites you to play with colours.
Method: the coffee cozy is worked in rounds on a circular needle from the bottom up, starting with patterned ribbing
and then a simple multi-coloured pattern. The decreases for the top create a graphic pattern and its splendour is
embellished with a pom-pom.
