Cobweb-weight, single-ply, traditional Shetland wool makes up the Shetland Shawl. The shawl begins with the lower edging, then stitches are picked up to work the center panel and side edgings. A knitted-on upper edging completes the shawl.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Finished Size 20” wide and 60” long, blocked.

Yarn Jamieson & Smith Shetland Supreme Lace Weight 1-ply (100% Shetland wool; 436 yd 400 m/7/8 oz 25 g): fawn, 2 skeins.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); tapestry needle.
