Shilshole Lace Scarf

Named for a Seattle bay, this reversible scarf was inspired by a 6-row scalloping lace in Barbara Aytes’ 1968 book Adventures in Knitting. Elongated stitches are created on Row 1 with yarn-overs that are dropped on Row 2. Directions give three widths, and all look great in fuzzy fingering and lace weight yarns, such as Icelandic wool and mohair.
