Shimmering Spring has a huge shimmer from the heavy silk content of the yarn chosen for the project, but an extra Pop of shimmer was added with the careful sprinkling of the same colour beads throughout the central lace panel of the pattern.

It was impossible to capture the shimmer with the camera, but the gleam of the beads does definitely show as the wearer moves!

Approx 200 size 8/0 beads are needed.

There was approx. 7 grs of Marrakesh left after the shawl was finished.
